Tell us about your background and how you joined Skores?
After studying Intercultural Communication and European, American and Postcolonial Languages and Literatures (Master 2) in Venice and Paris in 2016, I was looking for a job where I could show my passion for foreign languages… What could be better than joining this international company where the universal language of sport is spoken!
What values do you like the most about Skores?
What I like most is the international spirit of Skores, the whole world in one company! It’s wonderful that everyone respects each other’s culture and manages to create a positive team spirit despite these differences. We’re always facing big challenges, but we never forget that working together is the basis of our success.
You are Country Manager, in charge of the Italian market. Can you describe your job and tell us concretely your main objectives?
To sum up my job I would say that a Country Manager at Skores has to ensure the quality of the content of the sites, always offering the most reliable and up to date information on sports news and legal bookmarkers in their respective country. The aim is to help our community of bettors to place their bets responsibly and effectively…
What qualities and skills are needed to work as a Country Manager at Skores?
The main quality as a Country Manager is to be a multitasker! You need strong writing skills and real SEO expertise. A Country Manager has to be responsive, ready for any change, passionate about sports and, above all, a good listener: you never stop learning, the digital field is always evolving.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I like the versatility of my job: there are new challenges every day! I love it when the big competitions are coming up, because I get to see in very concrete terms how we’re going to design and develop the offer for our readers/users… it’s very motivating and stimulating! One final aspect that I love about my job: the good atmosphere at our office… 😉
