This weekend, six dedicated runners from Skores, Kévin Richard, Tony Goncalves, Quentin Despret, Cydias Aujard, Thomas Vidaud and Benoît Canonne, took on the Ekiden – Villeneuve d’Ascq marathon relay!
For those unfamiliar, the Ekiden is a unique marathon relay originating from Japan. The race covers the full marathon distance of 42.195 km, split into six legs of varying distances (5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, and finally 7.195 km). Each runner contributes to this collective challenge, and our team gave their all on the course!
Our team’s hard work and preparation paid off, with each runner giving their best to achieve an excellent result (90th out of 500 teams!).
We’re proud to have represented our company in such a meaningful and environmentally-conscious event. Ekiden not only tests endurance but also promotes values of teamwork, sustainability, and community, making it a perfect fit for Skores.
A huge shoutout to the team for their efforts and to everyone who came out to support us! 👏 🏅
